6-prong tiffany replica ring, should i use 18k or platinum?

I'm trying to mount a 1.5ct diamond into 6-prong tiffany replica ring, we found a workshop that offers platinum & 18k at same price. which materials should i use for the e-ring? Thanks.

If they're offering you platinum for the same price as W/g, I'd go for platinum. Platinum is more metallic looking than w/g and won't ever need replating. If you're not sure, ask to see examples of both, just so you know what you're getting, I prefer the look of platinum, but it might not be your taste.

Definitely platinum. Ask for one of the two harder platinum alloys:

90% platinum/10% iridium

or

95% platinum/5%ruthenium
