I love 6 prong RBs, in fact, the only specification I gave my Fiance when he was ring shopping was that if he went with a round, to go with 6 prongs over 4, lol.

Here is my 1.76 carat round diamond set in a Stuller solstice head (which I loved, and HIGHLY recommend). Some have tweeked the prongs a bit, shaving them down, making them thinner..I loved mine as is!)

Here is a profile pic for you too!
I had it set in a double (or split) prongs, then 4 prongs, then 6! I preferred the 6 prong head the best, it looked HUGE and more round and balanced.

I will be getting mine this weekend. Or at least that''s the plan. We have it at the jewelers being set into a plain six prong peg head palladium solitaire. I m doing a custom setting after our wedding june 14th. Just not enough time for the custom before the wedding.

When I gt it .........I will post it

It''s .8 ct, 2.5mm width/stone size, F color, and VS2 clarity. It''s a shared prong band, here are the other pics, although none are real side shots, sorry!

I highly recommend the Stuller Solstice 6-prong head too. It''s sturdy without being too stocky, if that makes sense, and it''s very secure.

I love the look of a classic 6-prong solitaire!

Thanks for the compliments!

I took the pics with my canon point-and-shoot camera (your typical little thing that goes into a purse, nothing fancy). I put it on the macro setting, and took the pics with the daylight coming in behind the rings so that it diffused around the rings and made them look all glowy :) I've found it works better than having the diamond face the sunlight directly. I just took them on my living room floor with the sun coming in through the windows, lol.
