Did ER just add more EC? I didn't see that many with images before. But where is the ASET when it is supposed to be available...:confused:

I set filters on ED to only show diamonds with pictures or videos because it is impossible to narrow them down otherwise. I've not been able to go through three pages of links, but if you want to post the ones you are considering now, I'd love to take a look at them! I think J color is great in large emerald cuts for one who prefers near colorless!

Just my 2cents.. I have a stone that is similar to the stone you are looking at. It's not GIA certed but the jeweler who I trust said it's L color. It can look almost white and almost yellow depending on the light. I hope that helps a bit. Enjoy whatever you decide to get!:love:

Do you mind if I ask you about the bow-tie, do you see it sometimes? I cannot see it on all your pictures. I don't have an EC and only saw them in person with sucky indoor lighting in less than an hour each time...so I am very curious when you can enjoy yours at 24/7...jealous!:bigsmile:

I actually don't see a bow-tie at all. I didn't think EC's have them.
The stone has a little poofy cloud that is nicely hidden in one corner that makes it a SI3/I1 but no bow tie to my eyes.
The stone looks on the white side most of the time.. it's when the lighting is "dusky" that is looks super yellow.:think:

I see a video. It takes a little while to kick in and there is no sign whatsoever that the aparent picture is the first frame of a video. Odd ...

I would want to see an ASET, because the lighting of the pictures and video is very inconsistent.

Did you view the page on Explorer or Chrome? I couldn't get the video work on either, not even on my cell phone.

BTW, I am seeing a price difference when viewing the same stone on my cell phone vs on laptop, $900 more, what!? :confused2:
 
I am using an Android tablet.

The video is not very useful: the diamond gets slanted downward so the table ends up shaded, unrecognizable ... You are not missing much, if you cannot see it.

The pricing thing seems just as slap-dash - as if ED begs to be asked for a slight discount !

SUM: the mess reminds me that these databases have not been open to buyers for long ...

I'd say that I am drawn to extreme - square-ish or very long shapes, & they all better be bright. I have not looked closely at all the narrower EC mentioned on this thread ... Do you have a shortlist ?
