I have images and hca score is it a buy it has a larger than average table and shallow crown.Screenshot_20200503-201412_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20200503-201109_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20200503-201035_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20200503-200835_Gallery.jpg

I agree with the HCA.

big, bright, and boring.

I understand the big and bright part... what is it about these proportions that would yield the boring? Thx!

hit in scintillation, moving sparkle and moving contrast will be reduced due to the low crown, large table, very shallow uppers and some things with the resulting virtual facets .

There is also a difference in fire but it is far more complex.
Im the right lighting it can have as good or better fire than a random near tolk ideal cut that everyone talks about here.
It will just tend to show fire less often instead it will show brightness.
The overall effect is sort of a one trick pony, big and bright.

Not sure if that's a go are no. A little more info here.Screenshot_20200503-211629_Chrome.jpg

I'm not a huge fan, to be honest. Even though it's an AGS000, it doesn't seem like a great one.

The profile view doesn't look very appealing with a flat top

at 1.39ct it would be great for a pendant but not enough going on for a ring

Ok thank you I'll definitely take all advice into consideration.

Is $9650 a bad deal for this carat weight with the specs shown above and would a better cut diamond be alot more costly.?

Almost 10k seems like a very high price for this stone. I expect you are paying a lot for the VVS clarity, which you won't end up noticing (vs. an eye clean VS2 or SI1).

Same exact price only just a couple inclusions on the table and different clarity.would this be a better value ? Thanks

Not possible to say without knowing much more info about the other stone (specs, size, price, etc).

here is some info on diamond secs .thanks

That second diamond would be likely to be more 'balanced' between white light and coloured fire, I think, and the HCA score indicates it will perform well.

G VS1 is a good 'middle-ground' in terms of colour and clarity, too - near enough colourless, and should be eye-clean unless you are looking at it very closely.

If there is a video of it, that will help assess clarity.
