.50ct solitaire into a halo ring, is this possible?

Hi all.

I would like to upgrade my solitaire setting (with same diamond) into a halo ring. Is this possible? If so, where should i look? I just joined this forum so i am kinda lost. I think my .50 ct would have more bling and be prettier.

Yes it is very possible. Do you have an idea of what you want? Halos come in many variations. And what is your budget?

a .50 would look wonderful in a halo. As SDL suggested, WF can design a beautiful ring for you. Possibly look at some halo rings in person first to get an idea of what your stone will look like THEN go with an online vendor as you''ll save $.

Yes, it is possible.. I had my 1ctw earrings made into a halo setting style.. I am sure Whiteflash can make one for you..

I actually posted a similar thread and someone directed me to Lord of the gem rings (LOGR) on Ebay...I have a .33 center princess stone and he has a lot of mounts you can choose from (I picked a halo) his prices are SUPER reasonable and he will work with you to help you get what you want.

A half carat in a halo is beautiful! I think whiteflash has bezel halo settings and prong halo settings for rings.

Kelli, you just taught me the difference between the bezel halo and the prong halo settings....now i can really see what i want.

Also, if i were to get a ring from an online vendor, how safe is it to send them my actual ring to have it set? I am a bit nervous about doing that. has anyone done this?
