5 Stone ring - What do you folks think about these diamonds?

So, I had initially wanted to purchase a 5 stone ring from another dealer.
I trusted folks on here and lost my deposit, but didn't get the ring.
I found another dealer in my area and did things right = asked about cut, wanted GIA diamonds, triple excellent AND this time I'm going to post the diamond info here first for PSers to give me their opinions.

Here are the 5 diamonds I'm looking at getting to create my 5 ring stone.
Any advice would be great.
Unfortunately, the cost of getting the same thing in the U.S. isn't worthwhile with the exchange rate etc.

As always, thanks to all PSers in advance for your help!

What is the cost for each diamond? OP, I feel like we can find you better diamonds through BN - they operate in Canada. These are not great stones, they are not the worst and at least there are GIA reports, but they are not great at all. You can run them through the HCA tool and see for yourself. When matching stones, it is important that the tables and angles match so you don’t have some flat top diamonds and others with higher crown angle. Most of these are 60/60 stones, I can’t tell much about the last one. 32.5 is a very low crown angle, there is also a steep/deep in the mix and the crown angles are different, this will be visible when looking at the profile. Once again, you don’t need F color diamonds, my advice would be to drop at least to G, the color difference will be visible next to your I color center stone even if the rings are worn on different hands.

@SimoneDi You are amazing, as usual.

I'm not sure what the cost is per diamond, but I'd be paying $5230 cash for all 5 diamonds and an 18k gold setting.

What's a flat top diamond or 60/60? So, I'm assuming I don't want a low crown angle.
I completely agree with you about the color. I didn't ask for a high color grade, so I don't know what happened there.

I'd love to know about other options, if folks on here can help me out.

Ok I haven’t had the time to go through their inventory, but BN has a “build your own five stone” option. Here are some diamonds that I like:

And a setting in Platinum: https://www.bluenile.com/build-your...ing_62363?elem=img&track=product&vtype=sample

The diamonds come to C$3732, they are all well cut stones and also slightly larger at a 0.33-0.34 each.

60/60 style is when the diamond table and depth are close to 60% - a few of the diamonds that the jeweler showed you are 60/60 style. They are known for producing more “white sparkle” and less fire.

Thanks @SimoneDi for the investigative work! I started doing more basic reading on ideal parameters for RBs in order to try and understand what you're talking about.

I see that I'd probably want a table size of around 57% vs the depth at around 60%?
I also see that one diamond is cut a bit steeper than the others!
It also seems like the crown angles are a bit too steep? = should be around 41 degrees
Blue Nile will be around 5 - 600 dollars more when everything is finished. Unless I just order the loose diamonds from them and find a local jeweler to set the stones (to save on taxes etc).

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know! Of course, I'm always up for some preloved jewels, I just haven't been able to find anything yet.

Thanks for having my back, as usual! I'm trying to do things as properly as possible :D

The general parameters that we recommend in order to have well cut round stone within GIA XXX are the following:

Table: 54-58
Depth: 60-62.4
Crown angle: 34-35 (up to 35.5 crown angle can sometimes work with a 40.6 pav angle)
Pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0 if the crown angle is close to 34)

When matching stones for rings expecially you want the dimensions of all stones to be as close as possible to one another.

I showed you the setting in plat, the white gold version is cheaper. I would have BN set the stones just for the peace of mind and also because the product will be returnable should you not like it.

Okay!
So, I also emailed IDJ and tried to see what they could do.
Shulamit is a wonderful person! Very helpful and prompt with replies!
So, I was told that they don't have GIA certified diamonds that meet PS standards. I'm not sure what that means.

She said they don't have any Si 1 clarity diamonds that'll work with the parameters I'm interested in.
She did find 5 VS2 quality ones.
That'll run me $4550 as a wired price.
Of course, I don't know if I'll have to pay duty etc unlike BN.
I have a feeling BN is my best bet thanks to your sleuthing in finding me some nice diamonds!!

Do you think I should pull the trigger on the BN?
I contacted my original seller. She said that the 5 diamonds I initially posted are the only ones her suppliers have in their inventory. And, there's another client waiting for them.
I told her to give me until Monday to make a decision. I'd like to see if PSers think I can do better for around the same price.
I'm beginning to realize that if your cut is on point with the proper parameters, than the clarity isn't AS key if you get something decent.

Your jeweler can only get those five stones and they have another buyer waiting for them. Yep. Let them go.
