Hi everyone,
I posted previously about wanting a 5 stone ring for to wear on my right hand, and had thought about getting it in the u prong setting at Brian Galvin.
I would like a 2 tcw ring, of about .40 pointers each. I initially requested that they look for stones which are F-G in colour, SI1, excellent to ideal cut, and eye clean. I am being told by Brian Gavin that for that size, it would be better to look in the VS2 category, as they do not often receive SI1 stones which are eye clean in that size. This might be over my budget, however. I was hoping to lower the cost somewhat by choosing eye clean SI1 stones - it is really necessary to use those parameters, or should I look into going to another jeweler?
thank you!!!
