Hi all,

Please help me in selecting a 5 stone ring, which I would like to wear on my right hand.

I already have a 2.3 carat solitaire engagement ring and a 7 stone wedding band which I wear on my left hand. I was thinking of getting a 5 stone u prong ring from Brian Gavin, with a tcw of 2 carats. I have a 4.5 ring size and the sales rep said that it might be a bit too big on my finger? I also would like to know what kind of stones to select for the individual stones... can someone help me in regards to what gradings and classifications I should be aiming for?

Thank you!!

I have a 2 ct five stone band with similar ering diamond and I don't find it too big at all. However, my ring finger is a 5.5 so that might make some difference. Are you able to get out and try on any five stone rings to get a feel for the size? As for the types of stones, I am assuming you are referring to color and clarity. I would try to stay in the same range as your diamond. My five stone ring was made by Memoire and is a shared prong ring. It sits low to the finger and therefore is very comfortable. The u prong is a beautiful setting - just make sure that it is comfortable for you to wear without poking into adjoining fingers or sitting up too high.

Thank you!

My ering is F in colour, SI1. How low can I go with it still being eye clean and super sparkly?

I was thinking G and above, SI1?

Yes, I certainly think you are on the right track. Just look for the cleanest SI1 stones you can find - BGD should be helpful in your pursuit!
