So I reached out to David Klass bc I'm toying with the idea of swapping my 3 stone oec into a 5 or 7 stone rhr. While I love my 3 stone, I feel I need more finger coverage. When I wear it, it feels so dainty and I worry that I might damage it bc I'm right handed. I figured that since I already have all the matching stones,I could move in this direction. My priority is to make it comfy so that I do not worry when I wear it.

I have a one carat center stone, two .35 or .40's (I can't recall) and two .25's. I will post pics of my current rings with stones and the settings that I'm contemplating. Please feel free to suggest any other settings. I will be working with David Klass.

Measure you finger to figure out what mm is needed to give you edge to edge and also measure your existing stones to see if all 5 together will be enough

That is the 3 stone. I can't find pics of my other band that has the oec's.
I should add that I want bling and comfort.

so that is one choice. Bezel. 5 or 7 stone. Or non bezel. I'm so torn.

So both will work in terms of coverage. For sure. It's just a matter of aesthetics. Will the bezeled octagon setting bling as much as non bezel? But will I feel low maintenance wearing a non bezel almost 2 carat ring on my right hand?

Hmmm now that you've shown a pic of your 3 stone, I think you could also consider doing the octagon bezel 3 stone like yennyfire's ring and that would give you more finger coverage too!

(Just to muddle things up by giving you a third option lololol)

The octagonal 5-stone above is mine, so I certainly like the setting! I don't get to wear it for another week (anniversary), but I tried it on and it's very comfortable. That said, my center stone is only .6 Ct and it feels like my finger real estate is pretty maxed out ( and I don't have a small finger). David can probably raise the stones a bit to make them fit across, but I wouldn't do 7 in that setting.

Omg!!! I can't wait to see handshots!!! I will definitely keep your advice in mind. I'm so torn on this one. I really want to us all my stones Bc I'm craving an eternity look without the eternity feel. But I so love this design!

Thank Nala , I can't wait to post them! If you really want to do 7 stones in this sort of setting, I wonder if actually lowering the stones so that they wrap around your finger would work.

Exactly! That's what I'm going to have to figure out.

Congrats on your ring and anniversary!

I don't think there is a prettier ring in the world than that octo bezel 5 stone. That's my vote.

I agree! Can't wait to see her hand shots!

I have a platinum oval 5 stone that I'll be parting with soon.
