When I was shopping for mine I found tons of inspiration on here, so many of you have such beautiful rings! I haven’t seen a newer thread dedicated to just 5 stone bands, so let’s do it.

Here is mine.
Brian Gavin Diamond 5 stone open gallery band in platinum, size 7.
Diamonds are all H, between .33-.35, ctw 1.67, vs2-vvs2, and all ideal cut.

here is mine, 3/4 total, I got the original band from Ebay many years ago had top mount changed to the current setting , it was custom made by my local jeweler When I got the band from Ebay I took it to a independent appraiser and per the appraiser and my local jeweler the stones are all VS1 and E/F in color...they sparkle like crazy and yes technically its a 7 stone because I had two 0.02 blue irradiated diamonds bezel set in the band one on each side and the represent my 2 sons, one son born in April (diamond birthstone) the other in December (blue zircon birthstone) hence blue diamonds....this is one of my favorite rings.

Beautiful!! I love that you had the blue diamonds set into the band for your boys. That’s awesome.

@mryan Thank you so much! I got mine at IDJ as well I was not disappointed in the quality at all. I have the paperwork put away somewhere...

Thank you. No, I put the e-ring upgrade aside for now. I can't get past the dollar amount it would take to get the 2+ ct size I want (if I go mined diamond.) Plus I have a 1.3 carat now that I would take a big loss on (I bought it at a B&M store pre-PS, so basically overpaid) if I sold it to help fund the upgrade. I am considering getting a lab instead for the upgrade, but want to make sure it would be mind-clean for me. Add to that the fact that I only wear my e-ring on special occasions because I am afraid of damaging it. So this got me sizable bling that sits low on my finger for now, and can be moved to my right hand if, or when, I get a larger ering.

It’s here! Had an emotional roller coaster with UPS where they said it was delayed until tomorrow then showed up anyway! It’s about 1.4 ctw, all G color, the middle three are ACAs and the end two are Grunberger. It’s slightly graduated: .2, .3, .4, .3, .2. Size 6.75 in platinum.

It’s here! Had an emotional roller coaster with UPS where they said it was delayed until tomorrow then showed up anyway! It’s about 1.4 ctw, all G color, the middle three are ACAs and the end two are Grunberger. It’s slightly graduated: .2, .3, .4, .3, .2. Size 6.75 in platinum.

I love a six prong setting! It is interesting how they alternated the orientation of the prongs, allowing the stones to sit closer to one another and yet maintain their round shape. Beautiful!

Exactly! I asked them about the orientation and we settled on that to keep the stones closer.

It is a perfect solution even if only temporary. I am sure the sparkle is amazing, the comfort off the chart, and is a very wearable ring. It would make a great right hand ring in the future as well. You did good - enjoy every sparkle!!

Not sure I love it, I don’t think it is thick enough. Apparently is 1.55mm thickness. I think I’ll just wear the ring solo.

Well, you are the one that has to love it. You may come across a thicker ring in preloved, etc. Mine is from Costco (believe it or not) and was under $200. The listing states 3mm x 1.9mm and 5.6 grams in weight, and mine measures the correct weight and width, but actually measures 2.2 in thickness. I’ve also seen fully round bands on Etsy.
