5 pt IDJ u-prong eternity for stack: opinions and thoughts?

Dearest fellow PSers,

I need your help! After some indecision about what type of wedding ring I should pair with my 2.44 carat antique marquise, I've settled on leaving her as a stand-alone solitaire that I will switch to my right hand when I get married. I just love how she looks alone, and I feel like a band takes away from her in that modern RBs look out of place next to her antique-ness and checkered pattern. Here is a picture attached for those unfamiliar with my SMTB post.

SO: I just ordered a .05 pointer u-prong eternity from IDJ in WG. My idea is to wear this on my left hand stacked with the Tiffany Paloma Picasso Olive leaf ring in gold which I already own, love and want to keep wearing (it was my promise ring  ) Here it is:

1. what do people think about this solution?
2. do people think I should change my order to .07 pointers (assuming they can make the change given that they tell me that they have already ordered the metal)? I am worried .05 pointers will look mini on my 5.5 size hand.
3. Does anyone have a .05 pointer IDJ u-prong eternity that they would be willing to share pictures of? I know this should go into SMTB but it's a hybrid post of sorts....

Many, many thanks for your thoughts!

Beautiful ering!

I also have the olive branch ring and the one thing that I would be concerned with is whether you have enough real estate on your finger to stack that ring with another. I don't have a 5 point band but stacked it with my 1.8mm wedding ring. I feel like any wider of a diamond band and it would push the olive branch ring too far up my finger. It already gives me finger muffin top. I'll try my sister's 4 pointer band on tomorrow when I see her.

Just something to think about.

I was thinking going smaller on the eternity band (like bead set 1-2ptrs) and putting a band on either end of your olive branch
ring but...I just dont think there would be enough real estate. I like the idea though!

Thank you both for your thoughts! The whole real estate thing hadn't occurred to me. Logan Sapphire: if you would take a picture with your sister's ring that would be SO helpful. So kind of you to think of this!

Fulvia, I just LOVE your gorgeous ER. So beautiful!

Personally I think a simple platinum band of similar width to your ER band would look lovely with your ER. Or an engraved platinum band. So as to let your beautiful ER be the star.

Here it is with my sister's ring. I don't know if a u prong is wider than pave. I also have shorter fingers and don't think I could pull off this look with much grace!

This is a really pretty look! I think you should go with a smaller eternity and do a pair - one on either side, as mentioned earlier... IF you have room on your finger! :))

Definitely perfer a smaller point band after seeing the combos Logan posted...I like the 1.8 mm band better with it. Maybe
something even smaller (but that's me).

Thanks so much to everyone for this feedback, especially to Logan Sapphire for going out of your way to take pictures for me with your sister's band. THANK YOU!

I think you are all right: with the leaf ring a 5-pointer is going to be too big. It's already in production, however, so I'm going ahead with the eternity and will think about what to do once it's on my finger. I will post pictures with different combinations! Truly, however - first world problems! Not complaining

I like the olive leaf ring on your finger solo. Truly a beautiful band.
