Hi all,

As some of you know I am looking at wedding bands now in the range of .75 to 1 carat total weight to go with my almost 1ct solitaire. My finger size is a 6...do you think a 5, 7, 9 or 11 stone band would be best? I don''t know that I like how the 5''s do not totally cover my finger but I don''t want the band to be so thin it looks odd next to my engagement ring which has a fairly thick band (prob b/w 3 and 3.5 mm).

What do you think???

A reminder of my e ring (none of the pics I took came out well):

Here's my 3mm band of 7 stones, total weight .75 (ring size 5 1/4 to 5 1/2)

I''d go and try on different bands with your ering. You may like the look of a 5 stone band, but then again perhaps a 7 stone band will suit you better as far as finger coverage is concerned. Have fun!!!!

I thought that would help me decided but I went trying on and it didnt help much!!! I thought I''d only like the bigger ones but then when I tired on the ones with smaller diamonds, but more of them I loved them too!!! At least I have time to think about it but I hate being indecisive!!

I wear a size 7 and I have a 9 stone, but it spins a bit. I''d recc. an 11 stone. I''m constantly having to realign my rings

I love the first one. The larger stones look great

That''s really pretty--do you find a large discrepency b/w band widths?

Thank you Sweetpea!

The width of the Vatche band and the width of the diamonds are really close, so I think it''s a nice combination. The diamonds are 5 pointers, so they''re about 3mm. The solitaire band is just a tiny bit wider.

I like the 11 stone because it covers the entire top of my finger and has the look of a full eternity. It fits well and doesn''t spin.

Mine is from Facets, and I saw they have an 11 stone 76 point ring which might be good for you.

Hopefully this pic shows the width of the two rings more clearly!

I''m really liking that!! I was worried that 11 would be too narrow with my ering but it looks great!!! Thank you for the pics, your set is beautiful and you ering is similar to mine, so it''s good for comparison!

Sweetpea - I have a cz that's 1 ct., and the proportion actually looks better with my 11 stone. It highlights the solitaire better.

I have a five stone bar-set band, 0.35ctw.

Thanks Phoenixgirl and Mexi! Those are both stunners!

I think I''m going to go with the 11 stone...it looks like it will fit into my budget better and if it''s narrower than my e-ring band then my FI will just have to buy me a matching one for the other side on our 1st wedding anniversary to balance it off!

I like that idea. One or two bands, it''s going to look amazing.
