I am just learning how to take pictures with my iPhone!
My (now) husband got me thisstone for Christmas about 4 years ago, and I chose the setting.

5.44 Ct cushion cut tanzanite
Setting 2.5 cts mixed princess and rounds, set in 14kt gold. Setting purchased at Barmakians.

This ring was my pride and joy before I got my engagement ring. I hope you can appreciate it - it's much more beautiful in real life!

It's beautiful!
I love the color!

Beautiful ring. Be careful wearing it as tanzanite is a brittle stone and not suitable for every day wear.

It's lovely! Thanks for sharing!

What a gorgeous color!  Beautiful ring!

Beautiful ring!!! :appl:

Oh, that is just so beautiful!! I love the contrast of that pretty blue with the diamonds, it's gorgeous!

What a pretty ring! I love the color of your tanzanite.

It is a beautiful color. Very nice ring.

Lovely color and what a unique setting. It looks great on you :)

Do you mean Barmakian's here in Boston? My best friend got her wedding band from them and it's so stunning - it always captures my attention because it's so beautiful and sparkly. I keep trying to drag DH in to browse when we're near the jeweler's building, but it's just no good. He knows I'm anxiously awaiting my wedding band upgrade (three years now!) and he's probably not too keen to hurry that process along :nono: :cheeky:

Hi DearBuddah

Yep, you got it! Barmakians in Natick MA. I LOVE that place! I got my wedding band there too. Good prices and excellent quality!

I hear you - I try to be careful but I decided when I got it that I wanted to wear it. Often. It won't do much good sitting in my jewelery box! And it's insured in case I totally smash it and crack the stone.

The stone is showign some wear so I do need to get it polished soon. I think its holdign out pretty well for the 4+ years I've been wearing it!

I'm with you - enjoy it!!!!!

tanzanites are stunning! I almost got tanzanite sidestones on an e-ring for my fiancee. The size of yours is quite impressive! Way to go!

That Tanzanite is gorgeous! Treat that baby with tender loving care. We don't see that saturation of color very often anymore.
