5.29 ct Jeff White tourmaline in DK yg setting

This should probably go in SMTB, but it feels like forever since I’ve even been on here, let alone posted, so thought I’d say hello to my fellow CS lovers.

Here’s a blue? Green? (I thought blue initially but appraisal says green) blue-green? I’m gonna go with “lagoon”. Maybe for the cheese factor alone. As the title says…

Thanks! I was hoping it would look like zircon all the time, but it’s definitely deeper in tone. Still very saturated, and intriguing to look at.

Thanks! There was a plain shank initially, which I was unsure about, and Elle (TGP) suggested that split and change/detail.

Now that is one stunning ring! I adore the color of that tourmaline. It has the perfect mix of blue-green (my favorite color family…yum). Zircons are great but this is even better imo. The setting is gorgeous and the perfect compliment to your tourmaline. I especially love the split shank with the little diamond detail. And the yellow gold was the perfect choice.

He said the colour is consistent with the material from the Gamata mine, but the mine wasn’t specified when he bought it.

Thanks for inquiring! I bought the Gamata mine trio that was on LT a while back and they are similar in color to yours, so I was just curious.
Your ring is beautiful and the color of the stone looks perfect set in yellow gold!
