,46 ct. OEC Pendant - work in progress

It''s been almost 2 months since I first laid my eyes on this little baby, but I think I finally have communicated well enough how I want the final product to look.

The idea incorporates my .20 ct. OMC, in a fixed bezel setting, with this .46 ct. in an "asscher shaped" diamond halo.

So, the idea is to miligrain the small bezel holding the OMC, and to also add it to the outside of the OEC halo. I''m thinking I should also have him add the miligrain to the inner metal around the halo. Thoughts?

am i missing something, tho? where does the .2ct stone go? is it fixed at the top? i agree that the milgrain finish on both stones will add some depth to it which will give it extra interest and 'oomph'; nice idea.

Geckodani - thank you! The marquise is being set as I type. I''ll be picking it, the EC sapphire, and the OEC up on Tuesday if all goes well.

FancyDiamond - My jeweler provided all of the diamonds, but my estimate was ~$600.

Whitby - yes, this is only the drop portion of the pendant. The OMC is going to bezeled, just like my plain old bezel solitaire, but with miligrain, fixed to the chain. Then 2 links will attach from the bottom of the bezel to the halo, allowing it to swing freely. I''m still working on a final design for the back of the pendant, but think lace/vines/wrought iron as those were my inspiration. Thank you!
