Does anyone happen to have a 4 stone ring? I am contemplating one. Thinking about 4 x .55-60s. I like the larger stones but I had trouble handling 5 x .40s on a 5 stone ring.

Please post them if you do. I bet they are very uncommon. But hey, I am all for starting a new trend!

I don't have a problem with it, but I might consider three equal size stones, too.

Here is one:

I am kind of glad to hear you say that about 5 .40's. I was worried that would be too big for me, too. I think .30's would be about the biggest that I could handle with 5 stones because the vintage band I have with a ,25 in the center and very slightly graduating stones is really not too small for me.

Thanks for posting that one DS. I was thinking about BGD's U Prong or Trellis II designs with 4 Infinity F/G/H color stones. I just don't think I want a 3 stone with this size stones, just not quite enough finger coverage!

Oh sure, you have to get the stones to fit the finger regardless of the number of stones! Do you already have the Infinity stones? Just wondering why you wouldn't use BG stones if you plan to have him do the setting.

It's funny that you posted this bright ice, since we are about to have almost-twin rings with the OEC/french cut rings. I have been thinking that my next diamond ring will be a four-stone OEC ring :) (Four stones for my four kids, I'll buy the stones loose and have the setting made - and I won't be doing this anytime soon).

I found an old ring on ebay a while back and kept a pic for reference, as they don't seem to be very common. Anyway, here's a pic from the listing - the seller is acanthus116, btw.

No I don't. I would go with Infinity because I have my 2.73 RB to trade with Wink. I hate to lose money so I have got to decide what I want. It's either a pair of 2.10ctw J studs or get the 4 smaller stones for a ring. I am torn on what I want

I actually just bought a .56ct OEC off DB. I surely thought about trying to find a total of 4 in this size range for a ring =)

I am officially on the hunt for 3 more OECs in the .40ish/.50ish GHI range. I have decided that I want one like Yessie had made for her mother. I really like the profile of the BGD U Prong that I sold but I really like the engraving and the 4 prongs.

Do you think the mid .50's range for the 2 centers and right at .40s for the 2 ends would look ok, or should I try to get all 4 as close as I possibly can?
