would make a great pendant.

see chart: http://diamonds.pricescope.com/ideal.asp

AGS 0 are supposed to be stones that no one would find ugly, even if the viewer were nearsighted, had a large head, or big hair.

but how about as a great e-ring?

If you''re 40+ years old.

Not a combo in which I''m interested.

And you really need an Ideal Scope (or AGS ideal stone) to make an informed decision.

You might do better to look for stones in the 1.8 range?

HCA follows Garry's tastes in diamonds and he likes shallower stones more than AGS or GIA or most other experts do.

I agree with him that they can be and are kicken diamonds if properly used as pendants and earrings but not so hot as ring stones.

Just a sec... the stone linked is a gia EX and the angles look pretty good.
It isn''t likely an AGS0 however but in this case id agree with the HCA and gia that its a nice stone if it has good optical symmetry which brings up the next point that more info is needed.
an ideal-scope image would be real nice.

I noticed that too. I''m guessing the OP might have seen the "x" on the HCA results fall outside of both the AGS0 and the GIA EX boxes, and that''s why he''s claiming it''s not an ideal/ex??

I''d go by the grading report first.

Sorry, but I think this could be a very nice diamond and I don''t see why it wouldn''t be a contender as an e-ring. I''d want to see scopes for light leakage, but this stone could be quite beautiful.
