4.5ctw-5ctw lab diamond search for earrings

Hello all!!! I’m helping my friend out who is looking for 4.5ctw-5ctw round lab diamond earrings. She has a pair at a store that are 5.2 carats G color and VS1 she loves the size but the cost is $9,000 I know for sure she can get far better diamonds priced below $9,000 that are better stones. They just didn’t have the sparkle a super ideal does. I dont think she cares as much about super ideal as she can’t tell the difference between an ideal and super ideal. So I’m putting together some matches on Ritani for her since she could easily save $4,000 that route. If she isn’t as concerned about super ideal can I just go with whatever ideal cut that comes up in their pairs as long as excellent down the line, 58 or less table and greater than 60.7 depth? Can a pavilion angle and crown angel affect the performance of an excellent diamond to a Joe Shmoe off the street? I start talking about all this and she gets lost.

I think many on the forum have gotten Ritani stud settings. You will likely have to call to do a custom order with the selected diamonds rather than doing it through the website. I'm not sure about jumbo backs, but it seems like something they should be able to do.

It’s fun for me!! But your help was amazing! I get so overwhelmed. New pieces aren’t in my budget right now so I get to live vicariously through my friends!! She bought the 5.21’s and I’ve earned visitation rights with the earrings!! So I’ll post when she gets them!!
