I saw a setting from LJN that was 3K up front a while ago that I adored and thought was worth it, retail ... But I passed because it had some pave, and I know I'm rough on my rings. Just found an estate one of the same quality without the fussiness for less than a third - it CAN be done. Would buying the stone separate be an option? If it was, would you want to, or are you in love with it?
My stone is much smaller at 2.52 carats, but has similar proportions - 54% table, 60ish depth. The lower girdle halves are much longer than yours, but the outline of the stone is actually very nicely high- crowned to my eye: it still has that "ring pop" feel. I am looking forward to additional pics ....
