3 Stone Vintage Cushion?? Anybody done one?

My wife and I are replacing her ring (I have a thread on that below) and she really likes the
vintage cushion cuts. Has anyone used those in a 3 stone ring? It seems they are a newer design
on a vintage cut. Is GOG the only place that offers such a cut? Would it be more cost effective to use
''older'' diamonds? She is a ring size 8, so she can wear some size. We are thinking about a 2.5-3 ct center stone. Would
you recommend smaller cushions on the side? If so, what size? What has anyone else paired with a cushion? I have been searching and
looking and spending way too much time on these threads
She has been wearing her grandmother''s ring and really likes the large chunky facets.

That is beautiful. I have seen her site and she has gorgeous pieces. Do you know the approximate size of the stones there?
That is in her ''sold'' items, so the details are missing. She has another one for sale, but the center stone is 1.7 cts, and I think that I can go larger than that.

Not vintage cuts, but moremoremore, a poster from a while back had one. ERD selected the stones, not sure who fabricated the ring. I know there are pics here on PS somewhere.
And I think Leon Mege''s wife has a 3 stone cushion.

You could always shoot Erica or Grace an email about that 3 stone''s specs.
It just has total carat weight as 4.62.

Ok here''s another photo... but the lights were yellow at the place we were at and the table tops were yellow as well. It is definitely not at all yellow in person. I barely detected any warmth at all in the stone compared to the E/F (I think, correct me if I am wrong Grace) melee.
