I am wanting to make a three stone ring....I have 2 rounds at .33 each. One color D and the other E. I am looking to get a 1.3- 1.4 carat round. My question is that should I buy a larger stone as a D or E, or can you get away with it being an F or G??? I want them all to look the same, but wondered if you would really notice much difference using the F or G. Thanks---

As long as the bigger stone is well cut you could easily go to the G if you wished. However, having a D and an E for the sides, you might rather go for the higher color just because it would keep you from ever feeling that you did not go the full mile to make the best ring.
