After Maytal had made my incredible sapphire ring (https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/maytal-hannah-blue-sapphire-ring.261217/#post-4849096) I knew I wanted her to do my 3 stone reset. It was originally set by HPD but I had waffled back and forth with the proportions of the side stones and had decided to go with a .43 set of Whiteflash sides. After wearing I knew that I wanted to pair my 2.14 CBI with my .54 CBI sides. It was as if they were meant to be together and the .54s also felt too big as studs (I have really small earlobes!). I ultimately wanted to trade out the stones in the earrings and put them into the new ring setting and then have earrings made for the .43s. I called Maytal to talk about the design and it just so happened I was going to be in CA soon thereafter so she graciously offered to meet me! It was so wonderful after so many conversations over text and phone to finally get to meet her! She was just as amazing as I had imagined from our previous conversations and she even brought some rings she had made to show me. I asked Maytal to make a very similar 3 stone design to the one I had but in the end the lines were even more beautiful and delicate than I could imagine and there is something so stunning about hand-forged pieces and Maytal’s craftsmanship. I also asked her to raise the stones so the culet was just visible. To say that I love it is an understatement. It has never felt more “right”! I also have three children - and I am a triplet myself- so I like the symbolism of the three stones and how beautifully the design flows. Maytal is now working on my studs for my .43s. She is so amazing to work with and her talent and artistry make her exceptional. She is such a genuine person, so hardworking and so thorough and detail oriented in everything she does. I HIGHLY recommend her. She is an incredibly talented jeweler and an equally amazing person. I tried to post videos but couldn’t figure how to do it. The pictures really don’t do it justice!
