Hi

I am in the process of researching a 3 stone upgrade. the idea is to upgrade the centre stone and re-use the sidestones. Did a little research in B&M stores and am leaning towards

.90 or 1 carat centre stone with .20 either side. IRL I just dont see any with size ratios like that unless pears are used on the side, in which case I have seen smaller stones on the side with a relatively bigger centre stone. So any issues, would it work, why not. I have small short size 5 to 5.5 hands and really dont want to go with three large stones.

Any comments or pictures most welcome and appreciated
cheers

Hi, I''m new here so I hope this picture posts. I know this is not exactly what you had asked for but here is a pic of my brand new anniversary ring from I.D. Jewelry. I haven''t posted yet on Show Me The Ring because I''m still trying to figure out how and haven''t yet taken pictures on my own hand. This is one of the pics YeKutiel sent me.
Center diamond is .93, two side rounds at .29 cttw, and two side marquis at .23 cttw. Side stones are not as big as the ones you would like to use but maybe this will give you some perspective.

I looked at a lot of Triinity (3 stone) rings with my GF. She has delicate hands with size 6. The larger the side stones the bulkier and higher profile the ring will be.
A one carat with 0.2 on each is a nice combination in size. I looked at 1ct with 0.5ct on each of the sides and it was way too nulky. For a 1 carat stone 0.15 - 0.25 would be a nice size.
