I think I found the three settings of my three stone dream setting, but would like your input. I am 100% sure that I want to bezel so here are the three contender. the bezel will be white gold with yellow gold shank (although I''m 50% not sure really

I like option 1. Are you planning to use the Adwar models? If so then you are limited to the carat weights in which they make each particular design. Not sure if those models come with a 1.2ct center? Or in the gold combos you want? If you would go custom them obviously the sky is the limit.

I like the baskets in the last one.. but I''m not sure how different they would look from the top, with diamonds in them...

DD- not sure if these will work with the diamond size I''ll be using-hmmm? but at least there''s a general model out there instead of drawing one up - then off to BGD to finish the rest

, but I really like all three,

I like the third one. You''re doing a full bezel for all three stones, correct?

ditto. i''m all about option 3 too. love it! i think it looks like a more elegant setting. will sit lower, too, i think, which looks fabulous on three-stones.

good luck on this D&T! :)

definitely #3 to my eye

Hmmm. I like the profile on the first one, but I think the 3rd would be better for everyday wear.

I like the 3rd option too.

Love option 3! It would be very durable, you wouldn''t have to worry about taking off your ring all the time.

Ok I like three too... I''m just drawn to the open setting where you can see the diamond''s profile in number 1.

me too! love the 1st profile shot, but 3 seems more practical,, I''m going to have to ask BGD to see if they can do 1 maybe but sit the diamonds as low as possible..

duhh- mee- didn''trealize 2 is the same as 1 just two tones..

The first one is very fluid and pretty from the side, but I like the third option the best. It isn''t that impressive with no stones in it, but when you showed the picture that includes the diamonds it is just gorgeous!

Sundial- I just love your three stone

I just hope mine,, whatever I finally decide to get will look half as good as yours.

1, 3, 2...thats my order!

I like option 1 the best because more of the diamonds will be visible from the side. I like to see as much icy goodness as possible! Whatever you choose, it''ll be gorgeous!

Thank you D&T! Whichever setting you choose will be fabulous and you have to post lots of pictures for us to drool over!!!

I like the side view of 1 but I love the top view of 3

I choose #3. I think it''s the most secure, really, although I really like the way the other two would show off the entire diamond profile. I had a 2 stone ruby set something like 1 and 2 and I lost a ruby shortly after (I''m sure it ahs to do with the jeweler though). It was sad because the pair were my mother''s earings she wore for her wedding.

i don''t know why, but i am drawn to #2....i love the picture of the one with diamonds in it from the top angle though, so i am torn! I had a ring just like this with colored stones and i LOVED it - it was just so easy to wear and fluid.

Violet- Do you have pictures of it? can you show me? Thanks!

I don't know where it is!!!! Let me see if after work today i can find it - the stones are iolite, and i used to get so many compliments on it. If i can find it, i'll take some photos for you this evening :)

EDIT: I Found it, and am charging up my camera battery as we speak :) See you tonight with photos.

OK, i am back and i''ve taken some photos...i feel a little silly posting them in this section of all the beautiful, expensive rings. This is by no means a "good" piece of jewelry....it''s sterling silver with iolite stones and old (i think i''ve had it for 12 years or so) and thus scratched up

But, having worn this ring for a number of years, i think this is why i am inclined to like the first two settings rather than the basket setting #3.

So, i have a couple that should show you the setting - clearly not as refined as those you are looking at, but nonetheless...

oh. my. gosh. Sorry for the HUGE post!!!!! (and the scratches) i'll resize - hope this shows the setting well for you!

Here''s a more top-angled photo for you- hope this helps at all! I love that three stone semi-bezel look...it''s just incredible with those beautiful diamonds!

Violet3- THANK YOU!
