Where did you get it from? Do you have any specs? It''s a great color!

I got it from Art Cut Gems. It''s 3.19 cts, and measures 9.5 x 9.6. I really have no other info, just that it''s pretty.

It''ll definitely be a ring. I want to see this puppy! It''s my first real stone purchase, and I''m really excited.

I''m not sure what I want to do, setting-wise. Something fairly delicate, I think, to let as much light as possible get to the stone. But ideas/suggestions are *very* welcome!

Purple is one of my favorite colors. Your stone is beautiful and very saturated. What type of seeting are you going to use? I guess if you want lots of light o get I prongs make sense bu a bezel might protect it better. But there are lots of amethysts set in prongs and if taken care of it should be fine. Do you want side stones or accents or just metal
