I've been on a lab grown diamond kick lately, and thought pictures of the pieces I've purchased might be helpful. They all came from different sources, and were each well under $1000.
The .90 carat solitaire in yellow gold came from New World Diamonds, and you can read about my fiasco in the thread asking about that company. It's a well cut, clean diamond that has a VERY warm color. I personally love it, but I realize it might not appeal so much to others.
The middle pendant is the .50 ct colorless Lightbox. I bought it during Bloomingdales sale. It's very white and well cut. The size is a bit smaller than I expected, and the design allows the diamond to flip over a lot, so frustrating!
The halo ring is from JTV. I couldn't find much mention of JTV on here, so I was wary to order. This is a nice little ring. As white as the lightbox and very clean. The center is .25 ct, but it looks larger, and is a great right hand ring. The cut doesn't seem as good as the other two, but it throws off nice sparkles. It is set in a 14kt gold setting as well, which is slightly unusual for JTV. I was pleasantly surprised with this ring when I got it.
Pictures (if you want any additional pictures of anything, I'll get my actual camera out. These are just pictures on my phone):
