I'm thinking about having a pair of earrings made. The stones I am interested in are (roughly) 3.5mm, square in shape. Would these stones be ok as a pair of studs? Would they be too small?
If anyone has a pic they would like to share that would be great
It will be difficult to say if it will be too small or not because everyone's ears are different in shape and size. This suggestion will sound crazy but I promise you that it works for everyone. Draw out 3.5 mm squares on a piece of paper, cut it out, then tape one to each ear. If you like, colour them beforehand to simulate the earring you plan to get.
I have enormous earlobes inherited from my Grandmother and hate them so my answer is they are waaaaaaay too small but normal mortals would find 3.5mm a pretty delicate size!
