Well... after losing my original engagement ring (1.07 J I1 AVC [completely eye-clean]), I decided I wanted a true antique since the itch was never really scratched with the AVC. Erica and Grace were such dolls, after I pestered them to death about finding a suitable replacement, and even after that.. bugging them endlessly about when my ring would be done. After the CADs were approved, it only took 2 1/2 weeks to complete ! Thank you so much, JBEG!

9.21 mm X 8.88 mm

18k rose gold halo and platinum for the shank and gallery.

Sized for 4.25 with sizing beads (I am a sixe 3.5/3.75 but size up to stack bands)

MGR: Yeah, hubby wanted the exact same setting and wband as the original. We haven't decided if we wanted to engrave the wband or not... would it be weird to engrave it with the same thing as the first time around?

I actually got used to it fairly quickly! (to the point I wouldn't mind going a bit bigger! ) Now, it would probably take me a bit longer to get used to your ring - but I would definitely be up for trying!

I felt the same way at first, though mine doesn't have quite the same presence yours does since I have size 8 fingers. I quickly got used to the size...darn DSS! And honestly, aside from friends, I don't have people pointing it out that much. Maybe people just assume it is fake. Who knows. The way I see it, everyone has their indulgences. For some it cars, clothes, purses, and so on. For me it was my ring and I don't think that I should have to be ashamed or embarrassed about it, and neither should you! I think you should enjoy that beautiful ring, don't worry about what others think.
