After a lot of deliberation I made the decision to reset my engagement ring into a set of studs- a more in depth discussion on my adventure can be found Here
But, long story short I found an absolutely perfect matching pair to my current “engagement ring”
The was a diamond I loved but never seemed to go to when choosing my accessories for the day. I know many felt it would be a shame to take the setting and diamond apart, but I felt it was a bigger shame to leave it unworn when a perfect matching pair fell into my lap (after diligent searching for 5 years)
I have always looked down a bit on martini studs as I felt they were a bit cheap. However, after trying some on at the store - I became obsessed with the “floating” diamond look.
my e ring diamond is a 1.59 J Si2 (gia) and the second is a 1.81 I SI2 (per two separate appraisals. I figure it’s a j)
The larger (Frankie ) has seen some things, and you’ll see she’s a little rough around the edges in the macros,(which lends to why I made these studs not a ring) but honestly so minute at eye length and nothing at all on the ear.
Dk did them for me and as always they were beyond amazing to work with. I cannot express my appreciation enough for everything they do and I am so happy with the result.
