I purchased this fabulous band nearly a year ago from the lovely @teslagirl1234 and have been wearing it constantly ever since, so it is long past time for me to share it with you! This is a 3.06 ctw band made by High Performance Diamonds with their HP Lux melee. The stones are .17 each, I-J color, VS clarity. Setting is platinum.

First, @teslagirl1234 s photos from HPD.

I cannot tell you how much I have loved this band. It is smooth like butter and sparkles like mad. I suppose I am not color sensitive, for I cannot see color in these I-J stones, only sparkle. This is a wonderful size band to wear as it is incredibly flexible. I am a bit band crazy lately, and I have been wearing this all sorts of ways. It works stacked with other bands, alone, or with an engagement ring. Truly a great size.

Alone. This is as much color as I ever see.

The blingiest stack I have put together. From bottom: VC engraved scroll motif band, CVB Norah 4.67 ctw, VC bright cut pave band with single cuts, HPD 3.06 eternity.

Thanks again to @teslagirl1234, and to @Wink for making such a wonderful piece. Apologies it has taken me so long to share it with you!

It looks beautiful on your hand! Congrats on rehoming a lovely ring.

Beautiful band!! And I love your Hall of Fame stacks, with every band created by a revered PS jeweler! :kiss2:

Absolutely beautiful! Can I ask - how many mm wide is the ring? And what’s your ring size? I’d love an eternity like this one day!

GORGEOUS! A welcome addition to your amazing stack. Enjoy <3

Love it, and love the stacking fun you're having. Grade A stacktastics.
What a classic!

That band is just *chef’s kiss* perfect!! You stack so well!

Gorgeous band and I love how well she plays with others!

My caliper battery is dead so I’m not sure how many mm wide it is….but the CVB Norah band it’s with in the mega-stacking photo is 4.4 mm, if that helps!

As to sizing, I find this subject fascinating. I know mandrels vary from vendor to vendor, but at some point you have to wonder about why there can’t be an industry standard. I think it might be helpful to have a thread comparing various vendor sizes.

My finger is a 6.5, but I have worn rings as small as 6.25 (though these days I’m way more comfy in a 6.5 or 6.75) as it’s much bigger at the knuckle. This ring was sold to me as a 6.5.

Some time ago I purchased a Kate Wolf true size mandrel and ring sizers to be better equipped to know sizes. And it has resulted in some interesting findings. This ring, which the HPD invoice labeled as a 6.5, measures a 6.75 (I’m actually thrilled with that as my VC bands are a 6.75). I thought this was particularly fascinating because HPD was supposed to use the Kate Wolf true size system—their website was actually where I read about it and why I purchased it.

I have three bands from Victor, and they were all ordered at a 6.75, and they measure 6.75 exactly on the Kate Wolf mandrel.

I have three rings from CVB—Norah, a Sophia band, and a rose cut halo. They are all at least a quarter size bigger on my mandrel.

TLDR: I’m roughly a 6.5 finger, this ring is a 6.75.

I love this on you! It's so versatile & looks great any way you were it :kiss2:

Stunning, Tonks - I love it! Congratulations!

Thanks, all!

It's fabulous! And it looks great on you.

Oh, oh, oh, I love it!

All your stacking options are fabulous, but my eye goes right to the "mega bling stack!" -- the one's my fav!

Enjoy your many possibilities :)

It's beautiful and I love your stack!

You’re so welcome!!!

I'm thinking about a sort of 'bowl' arrangement under each diamond - sort of a pseudo bezel, but held in with prongs and, rather than straight sides, like I had on my previous 7 stone, curved sides, as tho each diamond is sitting in a little bowl shaped thingy.

The whole "feels like butter" thing really GOT me, @Tonks!! I want a butter ring now, toooooo! Hrummmph!! :snooty:

I’m struggling to envision the “bowl” concept. Any way you could sketch it?

Would you ever consider bezels? I have saved somewhere a beautiful band a PSer had made that was bezels.

AHA! Found the photos. Now if I could figure out whose band it is so you could see the thread.
