After coming in to look at the stone again, I''ve decided to step up and go with a higher color grade. The1.60 J VS2, although a beautiful diamond was a little too tinted for me. With that being said, I''ve picked out a 1.5 G VVS2 I''d like to solicit opinions on.

Thanks in advance!

Just linking it and will take a look for you shortly

It looks like it has some light leakage around the table. Someone else will have to chime in and let you know whether its enough
to be noticable. (I''m hoping not). The picture of the stone looks pretty impressive.

Wait, have you seen these in person? I can''t recall... if you have seen them in person and you liked the G VVS2 and the price works for you, then I don''t think it is a bad diamond. *shrug* Still I would go down in clarity and up in size.

I would take Dreamers 1.72.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I''ve seen it in store.

It is now between the one above and this:

It is eyeclean and beautiful.

Well the cut looks a better and it is 3k less, so I like this one better. Still like the 1.72ct H I linked though

Well then there is your answer!

Thanks again all! I''m very close to making my final decision between the 1.54 G SI1 and the 1.5 (which is actually 1.515 as shown on the report) G VVS2 (which shows up as a solid F on the colorimeter in store).

The 1.54 Tolkowsky showed a teeny bit more sparkle when I closed one eye and looked under the fluorescent lighting (due to the slightly better cut), but the 1.515 looks a teeny bit more colorless (which it is).

Guess the decision (which I''m sleeping on) comes down to eye-clean vs mind-clean. The SI1 is definitely eye-clean even in direct sunlight, but the crystal and cloud in the center (even though only seen under magnification).

Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

I do appreciate a G that is closer to an F, I am waiting on my own like that right now

To my mind, and SI1 is mind clean, you really cannot see the inclusions usually with the naked eye. But it is up to you!

The price difference is around 3k, right? That would buy a gorgeous designer setting, or a gorgeous eternity wedding band if that matters at all. Maybe it makes it more mind clean

I''ve just about made up my mind on the 1.515 F/G VVS2 with the D''Vatche U113 Tiffany Style Setting that I will custom order and have them set.

Thanks for all your help everyone! I will definitely follow up with pics of the final product!

Good luck.
