2CT WF ACA or 3CT JA Tennis Bracelet?

Which would you choose and why?
 
I have a WF and love my ACA so you can guess my vote!
 
ACA alllll theeee waaaaayyyy. Why? Cuz SUPER IDEAL. :cool2:
 
I may be in the minority here but if they are the same price then it would depend on how they stack up next to each other.
For me, I don’t have a “mind” issue with diamonds. So if the 3 carat tennis bracelet is beautiful and very sparkly I would go for that one. Now if the ACA blows the 3 carat away then my answer would be ACA.

Agree. I think a size difference may be visible when together. If you can't see a difference really, I would prefer the larger size.
 
Any chance you could save up for a 3 carat ACA? That would be my choice but I know, budgets (dang it)! I think it would be
worth the wait to have ACAs!

Oh I agree, for sure there would be a size difference.

I read it as OP wanting either super ideal verses non ideal.

also, is 2ct vs 3CT a big visual difference

I think that's probably the question too! I would go bigger myself, but I think it comes down to preference.

The JA one would be the upgraded quality of VS and FG. That’s why I’m torn lol.

3ct as long as they were reasonably nice overall. For smaller stones the cut doesn’t matter as much (to me - tho others feel this way too) so I’d go for the overall look over perfection. Also bigger stones = usually bigger flashes.
 
Yeah I think in smaller diamonds the difference between very well cut vs super ideal isn’t as important.

I think it’s a matter of how well cut the JA diamonds are. I think if they were on the deep side with a lot of nail head darkness I’d be annoyed. But if they’re very lively and sparkly I’d go with the bigger size.
 
Basically we had to reschedule our wedding date due to the corona virus. So on our original wedding date I wanted to surprise my fiancé with this as I know it will be an emotional day for the both of us.

Sorry that you had to push back your wedding. We did the same thing but we weren’t getting married this year anyway. But for us, it didn’t seem right to plan something with so much going on around us.
I feel so bad for those couples that had everything set and done. Only thing they were waiting for was the day to arrive. I know 2 couples that still got married anyway, but much much different than what they planned. Their receptions will be in the fall hopefully.

The ACA will be the best two carat line bracellet you will meet, it will stand up to larger ones.
 
It’s such a personal decision.

I know the ACA bracelet will be gorgeous, hands down. But I also have a white flash bangle diamond bracelet that I love and it’s not ACA. I never regretted that purchase. I can’t speak on JA stones because I never purchased from them, but plenty of PS’ers have.

I would have to see the JA in person.

I agree with @AV_ but seeing them side by side would make it an easier decision for you. A photo is worth a thousand words after all. ❤️

I would go with the larger, knowing what you said on the stones. If you are unhappy, can you return?

2 ctw is set with 3,3 pointer stones
3 ctw is set with 5,5 pointer diamonds

Last autumn I had the chance to try on many tennis bracelets, I compared them side by side and the visual difference was really big, the 5 pointers looked double the 3 pointers.
The 2 ctw was too too dainty on my wrist, I wouldn't buy it.

I cannot comment on JA quality, but if your heart is set on ACA diamonds, save money and wait until you can afford the WF ACA 3 ctw...I think you'll never be safisfied with something different from ACA, maybe only a mind issue but the heart wants what the heart wants.
