2ct Slight color change spinel

It is 8x7mm, portugese cut. In some of the pictures you see a little hole as if the culet had been "clipped", however, the culet is cut in a manner where it is slanted a bit. The first picture is from the actual Ebay seller. I must have take 500 pics trying to capture one picture that was as nice as his.

I have never had a color change stone but I do like the uniqueness of it. In some of the pictures, you see flashes of purply-pink-and a cobalt blue. In other pictures it is strictly purple or pink. I just love it''s "multiple" personalities!

From the pictures it looks like "you done good" CCN. It looks to have pure hue without the gray which is so common in blue and purple spinels.

TL... really? I think your tourmaline probably blows this one out of the park IRL. CMW... your the one who got me into spinels. It means alot to me to have your seal of approval. One day, I hope to own a spinel half as nice as the ones you own!!!

Thanks everyone for your compliments. Every once in awhile you can get a little treasure on Ebay. I thinks me may have to set out and find me a lovely setting to compliment this stone.

I think it would look cool in an east/west style setting.

It is adorable! My maltese is 5 years old... His name is Chopper. He is without a doubt the sweetest dog I have ever had. It cracks me up because all I have to do is get the mail and he is so excited to see me. You would think I would have been gone for days...

He is so camera shy... can you tell??
