Why would anyone sell a diamond of that caliber on e-bay, instead of a premier auction house?

That is not a princess cut. "This astonishing solitaire diamond" - we all know solitaire is a setting style, not an adjective for a loose stone.

The "14 million retail price" line doesn''t sit well at all. A 14 day return period for this sort of piece? Ridiculous.

A google search on the seller shows nothing, except their own storefront, which offers a free 4 month warranty and free shipping besides unbelieveable prices. What a deal.

Toolhaus shows several buyers complaining about fakes and quality issues, but a lot less then I expected.

(by the way, you can get the same diamond here for 2.5 million)

looks yummy, but no way would I buy that from e-bay!! What a strange place to list something apparently so expensive,

What a silly ad. Isn''t "Gran Canaria" part of the Canary Islands? Do they get diamonds from those islands?

Anyhow the ad is very odd, bad spelling, etc., so I doubt people with 1.8MM handy will jump into it.

Strange, all their other jewelry looks ghetto fabulous & cheap.
People who sell diamonds of this caliber don''t sell junk.

Wow! Do they take paypal?

$700,000 commission - not a bad deal for someone who could not even be bothered to take his own photos of the stone.
