This year is our 25th Anniversary, so about a week ago we were talking about where we could go for an anniversary trip. During our discussion, my husband blurted out, "you should get a nice gift for our anniversary!" "What would you want?"
Oh, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Just a few days earlier I had finally stumbled upon my ideal antique anniversary band. I had been looking for awhile. My checklist was: platinum, art deco, clean, white oecs, each oec in it's own milgrained box, full eternity, engraving on both sides, about 3mm wide, sz 5.5. (Needle in a haystack!)
Later, I sent him the link, thinking he'd bawk at the price and that's where it would end.
The next night, he casually says, "You should get that ring".. and "you deserve it, and more" (I love this man).
Arrived on Valentine's Day ! Like fate, this anniversary ring of my dreams, an original art deco piece, with 24 F-G/VS 2.3mm OECs (.90 ct) , in platinum, full eternity, engraved sides, in exactly my size of 5.5....
DH says, "I hope you'll wear it forever".
