20.91 ct Emerald Cut Ring

This past weekend, I was in San Antonio for the openiing of the new Neiman Marcus store. I tried on (and yes, fell in love with) a 20.91 ct H VVS1 Emerald Cut diamond ring.

No, no pictures allowed. There was an armed guard (Texas State Trooper) standing there watching, hand on weapon, holster unsnapped, even though they had my little rock as collateral. They did offer to take my stone as a trade-in.

And no, I am not thinking of purchasing it. Fantasizing maybe, lol, if I had won the $245 million lottery!! But I did make the rash decision that there is no such thing as a too big diamond for me.
