Hello...
new to the world. anyone have any great examples or ideas for a 2 stone ring? Something that would incorporate maybe an older stone that you are passed down and a new stone to match?

There is a PS member named KikiD that has a two stone ring. put her name in the search engine on PS, click on one if her threads, then under her name click on "search all posts" or "search all topics" normally I would just link it for you but I'm on my IPhone and I'm not that tech-savvy.

Do a google image search for "twin ring" and "double ring", maybe w/ prefix "antique", lots of pics there. Same basic style, mostly, but the details can be very different...

If you try searching "toi et moi" rings, you should get some hits for compatible styles: they were very popular as engagement rings at the end of the 19th c.

WOW! if only i could get all my advice from pricescopers! you guys are awesome.
Thx for your time!

You can also do a search on by-pass rings.

i think this is the best I've found...what size stones do you think would work in this? what would be the smallest/biggest?

this one is also inspirational...sigh...http://www.fidra.com/Ring-Pages/two-stone-diamond/0153.html

Depends on budget. For me personally I would look at .5 ct for each stone, possibly bigger- I would really need to see how the setting looks on the hand to know what size stones work best...

If you already have a white diamond, I would consider a champagne diamond of similar diameter or even a sapphire! Gorgeous...
