Citrines are often color zoned and showing some brown. Sometimes they are a pale, brilliant, yellow: 3.92 cts. The V looking pattern at the top is just a reflection.
I was looking at the yellow citrine and rocking it in the afternoon light and got about a 95% complete reflection, vastly better than this photograph shows. It has a dome shaped, diamond checkerboard crown, rather than a large flat table. The multi-facet edges of the crown facets, at a 45 degree to the pavilion facets, seems to mix and blend the returning light more evenly than any other crown. This cut has the highest total return I even seen from a rectangular shape, and even more than any of my round brilliants.
