Stone in question:
1.31 D VS2
Depth 61.4%
Table 56.0%
girdle thin to med
Ex-Ex

For the additional information, I was sent an Ogi report which had the following numbers (I'm typing them exactly as they appeared on the doc, maybe someone can explain?):
crown angle 35.4 (35.1 - 35.7)
crown % 15.7 (15.4-15.9
pavilion angle 41.0 (40.6-43.6)
pavilion % 43.3 (42.7-43.6)

So if I type all these numbers into the HCA using crown/pavilion angle, I get:
vg-vg-vg-vg 2.9

If I use crown/pavilion % instead I get:
x-x-vg-vg 1.5

Is there any particular reason why there is such a discrepancy in the HCA scores? I understand that I shouldn't rely on it too much, but since this stone is an online one, I'm trying to gather all the information I can in order to make an informed decision. Thanks.

I beleive Garry has stated before that angles are much more accurate than percentages.

I'll defer to Garry or Leonid to explain.
