I am looking at two diamonds, both are on hold for me. I cant decide and need some help. Both are eye clean.

Stone 1:
Carat: .8
Color: I
Clarity: VS2
Depth: 62.6%
Table: 56%
Crown angle: 36%
Pavillion angle: 40.8%
HCA score: .9
Price: $3,243

What I like: Ideal cut (.9 HCA), VS2 clarity, I color.
What I dont like: Has STRONG BLUE flourescense. Will this be noticabale? Will it actually help since it is an I color?

Stone 2:
Carat: .86
Color: J
Clarity: SI1
Depth: 59.7%
Table: 58%
Crown angle: 33.5%
Pavillion angle: 40.2%
HCA score: 1.7
Price: $3,108

What I like: Very Good/Ideal cut (1.7 HCA), .86 carat, Price is lower
What I dont like: GIA report shows an Indented Feather. Had the stone examined, said it was located on the crown of the stone.

Opinions?

Thank you!!

1, definitely. Overly shallow pavilion on #2 leads to over-obstruction (too many facets reflecting what is directly in front of them - dimly lit you - and causing the entire stone to darken visibly as you bend over it to admire it, as opposed to those facets reflecting the brightness behind your head)

You want more info (pics, full scan) to make your final choice though, numbers on GIA report are averaged around 8 sections of diamond, then rounded, and we have no idea what ranges went into those rounded averages.

Thank you! So #2 should be out totally? I was basing off the HCA score, and didnt notice the crown angle.

Yes, I would eliminate #2 and not even bother with further analyses, waste of time and effort.
