I'm currently looking at two diamonds and need help picking one. I don't have all of the stats, but I do have some of them. Any advice based off of the stats I have would be helpful.

.70 GIA cert
round brilliant cut
color H
clarity vs1
depth 60.3%
table 60%
girdle very thin to slightly thick
measurements 5.74-5.77 x 3.47
flourescence none
polish very good
symmetry good
culet none
price $3280

.661 AGS000
round ideal cut
color H
Clarity SI1
depth 62.3%
table 56%
girdle 0.9% to 2.0%
measurements 5.55-5.59 x 3.47
flourescence medium blue
polish ideal
symmetry ideal
culet pointed
price $2825

Any thoughts on these diamonds would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be inclinced to say the AGS stone but I would not pull the trigger on either without at the very least knowing the crown and pavilion angles.

That's a close one, but I'm leaning toward the AGS one also because all things considered, it'll look much whiter than the other one that has no flourescence.

Why would the AGS stone look whiter if it has a medium blue flourescence?

Because fluorescence changes abit the visual apearance of the stone's color towards the the extra shade you see whenever the current light source contains sufficient fluorescence (eg. sun or office halogens). SO, a bueish tint on top of diamond's colour does make the yellow go away, even in a K... However, this depends on light sources and mediul fluorescence you might not really notoce unless you look up close under the right conditions... This factor is not all that cruacial, unless your taste and inclination makes it so (or the fluorescence is very strong and makes the stone hazy, which is rare and not your case).

Whatever fluorescence, I would go for the AGS stone: it is only slightly smaller in diameter and the cut seems alot better. But, as is said above, this is a close choice. If you want a bigger looking stone, I would go for a 3rd choice with less depth...
