2 carat potential cushion purchase - ASET image help please!

First time poster here! I'm (hopefully) uploading an ASET image of a cushion that I'm interested in purchasing. Can the cushion experts here help me evaluate it? To my eyes, it looks like it has potential. Any and all help would be appreciated!

From what I learnt today it has leakage around the table ie the cross bit. I hope chamypoo, Chrono , diamondseeker shed some light

I think it has a very pretty shape and is a nice generic antique cushion. It doesn't have ideal light return like an AVC. You might take a look at some AVC ASETs just to compare ASETs. I do prefer to see more red in the center, but it isn't bad around the sides.

the middle table has some slight leakage, but overall, I think the stone will look very pleasing to the eye!

All of those black/green or black/red regions do not return light well and will not be that bright. This stone has many regions especially under the table which will not be as bright as other stones. Post the grading report as well for more info.

That ASET looks really nice for a generic antique cut cushion. Not unusual to see the green around the edges of the table. Also the contrast on the maltese cross would be fine too as long as those facets are turning off and on. To make a fair comparison you must look at the "premium antique cushion" ASETs on GOG:

I say your stone is a winner. what are the specs? What are the comments of the gemologist?
