Hello - I need some help deciding between the following stones - both are GIA certified:
1. Round, 2.68 carat, H, SI2, Cut: Excellent, Polish: Very good, Symmetry: Very Good, Flour: none
Table: 58%
Depth: 62.1%
Crown: 35 deg.
Pavilion: 40.8 deg.
thin to slightly thick faceted

2. Round, 2.27 carat, F, SI2, Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Excellent, Flour: none
Table: 57%
Depth: 62.6%
Crown: 36 deg.
Pavilion: 41 deg.
medium faceted

Number 1 is about $3,000 more than number 2. Money is not a issue, I just want to go with what is a better value. Both stones seemed eyeclean to me, and having a VS2 is not my priority. I do not think my GF will scrutinize the stone too too much either - def not with a lupe. What do you all think and why? I was leaning towards number 2, but number 1 got a excellent score on the Holloway Cut Adviser and now I am confused again...
I appreciate the help. I have learned a ton from reading this forum and seeing people pick various stones...however I still have the same issue I was trying to avoid - trouble deciding
