It's been a while since I posted and it looks like lab grown diamonds has come a long way in the last few years. I'm considering getting an upgrade and wanted to get some opinions on this 2.87 E VVS2.

When looking for natural diamonds, I only focused on GIA diamonds. Is IGI a reputable lab for lab grown or should I still stick with GIA?
Is IGI ideal cut and "hearts and arrows" an indication that this should be a well cut stone? I ordered this for an in store preview, so I'll let you know my thoughts once I see it in person.

It has a lot of potential. Can you get an Ideal-Scope or ASET image once it's at the store? IGI is one of the most common grading labs for lab-grown, though we do sometimes see that it's a grade or two off from GIA. Take the H&A designation with a grain of salt, as we'd need to see actual H&A images to verify.

Not for CVD method...almost all of them need PGT in order to vastly improve color and clarity before the rough goes off for cutting and polishing.
