You know what? Even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy this stone. It's a horrible colour and reminds me far more of bog standard tourmaline than a diamond. Honestly, this wouldn't tempt me in the slightest. It's a really yucky green. Sorry to those who love it. I guess I'm a cheap date!

You know Chrono, what you are saying is quite interesting ...
While green is very rare and precious, similar to blue and pink, it is less in consensus.
I never heard someone saying that they don't love pink or blue but I have heard it about greens (not too many times but still).

You should note though that green diamonds come in many shades, each is very different than the other, so I wouldn't dispose of them yet - give them a chance

I don't think I've ever seen a green diamond that was this close to the color of a glass 7-Up bottle.

Maybe we should just buy old 7-Up bottles, smash them, and set the little pieces.
I wonder what GIA would say when they got a piece to grade.

I will have to agree with others that I would FAR rather have a pink or blue diamond if I had a few million to drop on a colored diamond ring! It is very interesting to see, but pure green is just not my color in any gemstone.

Green definitely IS my color! I love this stone, and my teeny tiny FIG is my favorite fancy diamond as well. Kenny's green is my favorite diamond PERIOD.

Blue though?...I have my little FIB and it's...eh. If one had to be voted off the gem holder island, it would be the first to go. Followed by the yellow, then the pink, and the little green would be my survivor.
