I was asking about bands with blurry pics of my ring, and realized I'd never started a SMtB thread!
While cruising around these forums I fell in love with large old cut diamonds thanks to the rings Dreamer_D, Demelza, and many others. I'd been looking for an antique round bezel setting, but found they all towered quite high above the finger. I'm left handed, and work with my hands, so I thought I'd be asking for disaster.
Then JbG released the Victoria setting by Erika Winters Bridal. It's a gorgeous low-set setting in platinum with an octagonal outline (reminded me of Dreamer_D's ring). The model ring for the setting was set with a transitional cut diamond I'd been eyeing previously. The stars aligned. It was love
The stone is a 2.24ct, and GIA K, VS2. Ring size 6.

Thanks for looking
