Hello!

Some of you helped me with an appraisal recently, and I wanted to show off the ring :) This is a professional shot from our engagement photo session and in my opinion a picture that finally starts to show some justice. It still doesn't compare to what it looks like in real life on a bright sunny day... but you'll get the idea :)

Some info from the appraisal -
Platinum ring and setting
7.56 x 7.54 x 5.10 2.23ct Sri Lanka Sapphire
AGL Color Scan code 355 VS range Type II 10% windowing 35% brilliancy 55% extinction. Heat Treated
48 round diamonds approx. .40ct weight G/H color VS2 SI1 range

Enjoy! (Can't get image embedding to work, sorry! ): )

Congrats on your lovely new ring. BTW, it's not a sweater, so the location is Kashmir, although in this case, the origin is Sri Lanka.

Oh? I... got confused because different people I worked with called the color different things... The jeweler called it "Cornflower Blue" and the appraiser called it "Kashmir" ... however, the stone location is Sri Lanka....

This is precisely why I avoid using descriptors like cornflower, navy, and etc these days. My cornflower blue would be someone else's navy blue or vice versa. You might find reading the link interesting as it explains how these descriptors came about.

Wow thanks for the information! We honestly don't care too much about what it's labeled (past the appraisal for insurance...)... it's too stunning to care....
