1st post- opinions needed on 1.51 J SI2 diamond

Hi all,

I recently ordered this diamond online (which comes with a 30 day return policy) but haven't received it yet, and as my knowledge is pretty basic I would like to find out whether or not it is any good? The specs are:

GIA J colour
1.51 carat
SI2 clarity
Excellent cut
Excellent polish
Excellent symmetry
Fluorescence - strong blue
60% depth
59% table
33.0 crown
41.0 pavillion
medium (faceted) girdle
culet - none
7.44 - 7.48 x 4.47mm
£4650 GBP

Size was a priority for me and I have been advised that the diamond is listed as 'eye-clean'. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It looks like a pretty stone - I also ran the HCA for you and it comes back with the score of 1.1 and EXCELLENT in all 4 categories (light return, fire, scintillation, spread).

The price seems good to based on comparable searches ( I found 1.51ct J SI1 xxx) for $7.7K, which is probably close to what you paid in pounds.

Your choice has strong potential to be quite the sparkler. In terms of eye cleanliness, if you prong that largest one on the upper left, it'll end up totally clean.

For those that know better, isn't that a 60/60 stone therefore may not be quite as fiery as some others? Don't know. Just throwing it out there for those that know better to advice him.
