Hi,

I have a platinum eternity band and a platinum engagement ring that I wear together. I love them worn together but the sides of my engagement ring look terrible all the time because they rub together. Would a spacer band prevent this? Here is a picture to show you what I mean. Please help! Thank you!!!

Platinum gets a patina over time, and from your picture, it looks to be a normal amount of patina. I think any spacer will also rub against your rings, so unless it's the diamonds in your wedding band causing the rubbing, you won't be better off with a spacer.

Thank you for your response!! Its the side of my eternity band were the top of the diamonds and prongs are that is rubbing that is why I thought a spacer ring would be good because it will separate the two rings.

If the diamonds/prongs from the band are scratching your engagement ring, then yes, a spacer should help a lot.

In that case, then a spacer will definitely help. This one looks good! I have ordered two bands from them and they are wonderful, high quality bands. http://www.e-weddingbands.com/store/product172527.html

I ordered a 1mm platinum spacer from Jeweler on the roof. Do you or anyone know if that is good?
