1mm platinum wedding band - adding diamonds? Pics and help please!

Ok so I''ve found a 1mm platinum wedding band to add as a spacer/stacker to my set - I have some teeny weeny diamonds that I would like to add to it so should I: -

(a) give jeweller diamonds before to make up ring from scratch?
(b) buy 1mm ring from online vendor and then give diamonds and ring to another jeweller to add to the ring (I mean by putting the diamonds set into the band).
(c) or get 1.5mm (my wedding band is 2.5mm) as 1mm might be too small to add diamonds.

If anyone has photos of teeny weeny bands with diamonds set in them I would be grateful to see!

(b) buy 1mm ring from online vendor and then give diamonds and ring to another jeweller to add to the ring (I mean by putting the diamonds set into the band). Advise against this option lots of variables, and require very specifics measurements of the diamonds to fit EXACTLy in the mount
(c) or get 1.5mm (my wedding band is 2.5mm) as 1mm might be too small to add diamonds. way too small- flimsy & structural integrity is questionable

If anyone has photos of teeny weeny bands with diamonds set in them I would be grateful to see!

Hmm, not sure that 1mm would work with diamonds, so I''d go with 1.5mm. But I''d love it if you would post where you found the 1mm band online--I''ve been looking for one for a long time.
